CKS Appointed to Take Care of Sagem UK?s Obligations

Sagem UK, one of Europe?s major companies in the Communications and Consumer industries and a leading Information Communications Technology (ICT) provider, has appointed CKS Group Plc (CKS) to take care of its obligations in relation to the Waste Electronic and Electrical Equipment (WEEE) Directive.
Bracknell-based CKS will assume ownership of Sagem?s environmental obligations under existing legislation and the forthcoming WEEE (Waste Electrical & Electronic Equipment) Directive for the disposal at end-of-life of Electrical & Electronics assets. In addition, it will act to indemnify Sagem against other end-of-life disposal issues, including Data Protection and Data Privacy responsibilities.
